A largely Norman Grade II* listed church with a Tudor chantry chapel. It closed in 1978 and is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.

This medieval church closed in 1978 . In the 21st century it has once again become the centre of the community..

Closed in 1978 this Grade II* listed building is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. During Heritage Open Days in 2024 there will be an exhibition of local history photographs from the 1900s to the present day and visitors will be able to add their contribution to our Connections Wall celebrating the changing community .

Pilkington Road, Kirk Sandall, 3 Pine Hall Road, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN3 1EF

Directions:

Visitors arriving by bus or train should alight at the stop for Kirk Sandall railways station and turn left on to Sandall Lane. From there take the third turn right on to Pilkington Road where the church is at the end of lane. There is car parking alongside the canal or on street parking on Pilkington Road itself.

Accessibility details: Uneven floors. Ramp access to main body of the church but one step through narrow access to Chantry Chapel and main part of local history exhibition. No toilet facilities.
