Our speaker, Anne, The Bustle Lady, specialises in the most interesting period of Victorian history, from 1875 to 1888- the era when the Bustle Dress was the height of fashion. 

Anne’s talk will cover Victorian food adulteration, it’s consequences on the nation’s health, and how some of the reasons for food adulteration happening now are strikingly similar to those in Victorian times.
