An illustrated talk by Peter Robinson, Curator of Archaeology at Heritage Doncaster.

We invite you to come along and find out what the Danum Shield is and why it is so important to Doncasters rich heritage and its connection to Doncaster Brewery.

During the talk Peter will explain how the Shield was found, what research has been undertaken on it and how it fits into broader studies of Roman Equipment. You will also be able to drink some of the wonderful Doncaster Brewery Beers.

Directions: The Brewery & Tap is located a few minutes walk from Doncaster Railway and the Bus Interchange. There is a car park at the back of the building and on Street parking from 6pm.
