Friday of the Cazoo St Leger Festival is the brand-new ‘Donny’s Day – the event to celebrate the people of Doncaster

The highlight of the live horse racing will be the Doncaster Cup - the oldest race to be held at Doncaster Racecourse.

Meanwhile, the highlight off the track will be celebrating the achievements of the local community over the past 18 months. We’ll be sharing stories of your local heroes and celebrating all the organisations and community groups that have provided support and solace since the first lockdown began in March 2020. Over the coming months, we will be asking you to share your stories on social media about who has been your hero in the past year – more details to follow!

Entertainment After Racing

Live on the Champagne Lawn after racing for County and Hospitality ticket holders we have Decade Explosion playing! A 70s, 80s & 80s tribute band who play scintillating tributes to the music of The Temptations, Billy Ocean, Queen, Duran Duran + so much more!

Tickets

This highlight of the Doncaster events calendar will prove incredibly popular.

They are expecting tickets to this year’s Cazoo St Leger to sell out. If tickets are still available, advance tickets close at midnight the day before racing.

New year, new decade, new look Leger. For 2021 they have re-imagined the leger experience …

The county enclosure will offer a real festival experience with street food, a vibrant and rainbow feel with some surprises during the day.

The Grandstand offers great views of the racing access to the betting ring and hall, along-side the clocktower champagne court. With a great range of local food and drink.

The family area will have an alcohol-free area, to ensure a relaxed environment for extended families to enjoy the event together.

Shuttle Bus

There will be a St Leger Festival Bus in operation running from Stand B2 at Doncaster Interchange.

Dress Code

Most racegoers choose a smart casual outfit when attending the races and they discourage sportswear and ripped jeans. There are more formal dress codes in place for some of our premier ticket options as well as hospitality and restaurant packages. Please click here to view our dress code.

Kids Go Free!

Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). You’ll need to select a child ticket when making your booking.

Book in advance & SAVE! Book your tickets at least 48 hours before each fixture to benefit from our advance booking discount & save a minimum of 10%* when you book early.

What to come along on the day of racing but haven’t got your ticket yet? No problem! Online ticket sales remain open on the day of racing (unless sold out), so you can also book your tickets quickly and easily online and they’ll be sent straight to your inbox to redeem on the gate. A fulfilment fee may apply to some orders. This will be added at the checkout. All bookings are made in accordance with our terms and conditions of entry.
