The River Don is a river back from the dead. It’s time to stop being down about the past industrial degradation of the Don and start celebrating – injecting positivity into a wonderful river that is special for its wildlife, history, and communities! Participants are also invited to join a free photography workshop, led by photographer Wendy Turner, covering the basics of photography including understanding your camera settings to composition and light.

What to bring: Please bring a digital, film camera or a smartphone. Bring walking boots or wellies that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy! Please dress for the weather as it will be an outdoor workshop.
What to expect: Photographer Wendy Turner will lead a practical workshop covering the basics of photography including understanding your camera settings to composition and light which you will then get to test out your skills along the riverside. Please be prepared for an outdoors event and wear good shoes for walking along the footpath.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided!
