The Point (darts)

The Point is a public venue with creative spaces, an art gallery and a cafe. We run a wide range of creative activities including inclusive family workshops, art clubs, music clubs, Quirky Choir and Swag Choir, and host between four and six free exhibitions in the gallery every year.

The Point is a friendly and welcoming place, open to all. It is the only Makaton Friendly venue in Doncaster. Makaton is a language programme using signs and symbols to help people to communicate. We have a Changing Places facility with adult sized changing bed, adjustable sink, shower and hoist. Our staff are Dementia Friends trained and we are Breastfeeding Friendly.

The Point is home to darts, a charity whose mission is to create art with people in Doncaster to improve life, learning and health. darts is an award winning team of artists, makers, musicians, performers and support staff who collaborate to design and deliver creative programmes that inspire learning, build good emotional health and strengthen professional practice for people of all ages who live, work or learn in the Doncaster.
