Lakeside Village’s Summer Cinema set to close with The Secret Life of Pets

The Secret Life of Pets will mark the final screening at Lakeside Village’s outdoor Summer Cinema this week.

The animated comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day will be screened twice at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping on Thursday 31 August, with showings taking place at both 11am and 3pm.

The film marks the end of Lakeside Village’s Summer Cinema, which has run every Thursday for free throughout the summer holidays.

Films shown throughout the summer have included Toy Story 3, Moana, The Super Mario Bros Movie and Encanto.

Di Mellis, centre manager said: “We’ve had a blast bringing our popular Summer Cinema back to Lakeside Village for the holidays.

“It’s been great to see so many people come out to watch each screening and it’s been a real pleasure to be able to put on the films for free, so families can spend precious time together and enjoy family-favourite movies while making memories.”
