Get ready, Doncaster! ArtBomb is back with a three-day arts festival from 15th to 17th August 2025, bringing world-class art, music, and performances to the heart of the city. Supported by the Arts Council of England and hosted in collaboration with Doncaster Unitarians, the festival will transform Doncaster’s streets and public spaces into a vibrant celebration of creativity.

What to Expect

  • Provocative Art & Thought-Provoking Discussions
    ArtBomb 2025 will explore topical global issues through its new residency program, including themes of Rethinking Migration, Arts and Homelessness, and the Sonification of Data. Expect powerful exhibitions, performances, workshops, and talks that challenge perspectives and spark meaningful conversations.

  • Music That Moves You
    Enjoy a mini music festival featuring local talent alongside a regional electronic music open mic night, offering an eclectic mix of sounds and styles to suit all tastes.

  • Engage & Create
    Participate in hands-on workshops and pop-ups hosted at ArtBomb’s creative base at 60 Hallgate, Doncaster. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or simply curious, there’s something for everyone.

A Proven Track Record

Following successful festivals in 2021 and 2022, as well as an engaging forum in 2024, ArtBomb continues to push boundaries. The festival has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of numerous artists, like performance artist Miranda Whall, who took her practice to new heights in 2022.

ArtBomb’s creative lead, Mike Stubbs, says, "With support from the Arts Council of England, we’re excited to offer even more opportunities for local artists and audiences. This festival will continue to strengthen Doncaster’s growing arts scene."

Year-Round Creativity

ArtBomb is not just a festival – it’s a year-round celebration of creativity. Regular events include a monthly open mic night led by local poet Omole Eroje and interactive street art workshops with the Squiggle Gang. Exciting exhibitions from artists like Aisling Phelan, Rosie Gibbens, and Spelling Mistakes Cost Lives are already in the pipeline.
