Upcoming eventsA cabaret with food, music and storytelling By Jasmin Mandi-Ghomi. Created with the company as part of Public Acts
There’s something different about Heather. She knows it, you know it.
The village is not home for Heather. She must take up her own adventure.
But, when she hears the resounding call of home, will she return? And will the community accept her once more?
Join our company from across Doncaster including members of the Public Acts community and local artists to celebrate a long-forgotten story, mixed with movement, music and a sprinkling of magic.
Seating is unreserved, and will be allocated on arrival. The event will adhere to government guidelines around social distancing. We are currently planning for the audience to be at full capacity.
Tickets are pay what you decide, the experience will be the same with whichever option you choose, and the experience includes the opportunity to share food and drink with the company.
Since 2019 Public Acts has been working in partnership with Cast across Doncaster and 6 community organisations.
Public Acts
Public Acts is the National Theatre’s nationwide initiative to create extraordinary acts of theatre and community. The programme creates ambitious new works of participatory theatre and is built on sustained partnerships with theatres and community organisations across the UK who share a vision of theatre as a force for change.
