Upcoming eventsThe play concerns ten individuals from disparate backgrounds and with differing motivations who attend the same weekly tap dancing class in a dingy North London church hall.
Each have their own reasons for turning up every Thursday night to a beginner’s tap class run by Mavis, a failed professional dancer. Mrs Fraser, Mavis’s second in command and piano player is forever pestering Mavis to be more business-like and not allow folks to tread all over her soft nature.
The class has been invited to take part in a big charity show (the organisers have clearly never dropped in on a session) and they must up their game and learn a choreographed routine or be made a laughing stock. Join the weekly groups’ antics and see if it reminds you of anyone you know.
