To coincide with the British Museum touring exhibition ‘Living with Art: Picasso to Celmins’, which is currently on display at the Danum Gallery Library and Museum, Catherine Daunt from the British Museum will be giving a short talk about the exhibition. Following the talk there will be a chance to look round the display, with Catherine on hand to answer questions.
The exhibition features work by among others Picasso, Matisse, Hockey, Bridget Riley and Lucian Freud, which were bequeathed to the British Museum in 2002 by the film critic Alexander Walker.
The talk is free and refreshments will be available on arrival.
Numbers for the talk are limited to 25 and places must be booked in advance.
People attending the talk should meet at the main entrance to the Danum Gallery at 10am, and the talk and tour will finish at 12.
