DGLAM Summer Holiday Activities

Summer Holiday & Free Children’s Activities at Danum, Gallery Library and Museum this summer!

Activities aimed at ages 4-12 but all ages welcome.

These activities are free. No need to book just drop in and join in!

The Children’s Library is on the ground floor of the Danum. The Paddington Room is on the first floor.

Monday 1st August

  • 11am – 2pm, Children’s Library
  • Traditional Tale Week Session 1
  • Use the bricks to build a bridge for the Billy Goats Gruff or a tower for Rapunzel
  • 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm, Paddington Room
  • Plants & Flowers Week Session 1
  • Make a rosette flower
  • Handling Session
  • Handle 3D printed replicas and get hands-on with 3D digital models of one of the Museum’s first collections. The Bronze Age Burial group was discovered in 1887 and is one of Doncaster’s earliest recorded archaeological discoveries. Tell us what you think about these 3D replicas and how you would like us to use them in the future.
